CURRENT PASTOR OF EASTERN GATE ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Mark Riggins assumed the lead pastor role in 2018, after his father’s passing.

Our purpose is to minister to whosoever through worship, discipleship, relationships, and outreach.  Jesus isn’t a secret to be kept, we are going public with the joy of the gospel. It is the ‘good news’ for all people.

THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD

Founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people at the founding convention. Today there are 13,017 churches in the U.S. with over 3 million members and adherents. There are more than 69 million Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination.

The U.S. Assemblies of God national office is located at 1445 N. Boonville Avenue, Springfield, Missouri. It houses the denomination’s executive and administrative offices, service divisions and departments, and the Gospel Publishing House printing plant which ships over 6 tons of literature daily.

The Assemblies of God is committed to fulfilling a four-fold mission. Its primary reason for being is:
